I will not leave to much comment on what this video is about. This video is for the ladies in my audience. I do not spend much time focusing on what the bible has to say to wives. At this point I choose to do that because the scriptures are not written to me. And the more a man knows about the role of women in the church the more he uses it as a weapon against her. John Piper spoke in this sermon to something that I could not agree more with. "The ultimate meaning of marriage is the representation of the covenant keeping love between Christ and the church" (Please note you and I are part of the church) I personally have been divorced and know the pain of it. Now I have started over and I am working toward the goal of showing the woman I love the truth of this statement. Eph 5:25-26 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,

The Purpose of Marriage

Just why did God create marriage? I am sure there are many reasons. But One of the greatest reasons is conforming you and I to the image of Christ. How easy are you to love by Christ? Do you test His patients? I do. I find with Paul Washer the woman that I personally love with all my heart causes me great trouble. So that I might grow in the image of Christ.
